If you're in the mood for a quick bite of authentic Thai cuisine in the heart of Toronto's bustling financial district, look no further than Thai Express Scotia Plaza. Nestled at 104 Yonge St Y3A, this Thai restaurant is ideal for anyone searching for a delicious meal that doesn't compromise on quality, even when you're pressed for time.

Thai Express is known for its vibrant and flavorful dishes that capture the essence of Thailand's rich culinary heritage. Among the popular items on their menu, you'll find the classic Pad Thai, a stir-fried mix of rice noodles, fresh vegetables, and your choice of protein, all tossed in a delightful tamarind sauce. With its sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy flavor, it’s no wonder this dish has become a staple for regulars. If you desire something a bit more daring, give the Green Curry a try – it's a harmonious blend of coconut milk, Thai herbs, and spices that generates a delightful heat without overwhelming your palate. Don't forget to pair your choice with a refreshing Thai iced tea, a perfect complement to the culinary journey you will embark on at Thai Express.

The dining atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an excellent spot for a lunch break amidst your busy day or a quick dinner before heading home. The service, as per customer reviews, strikes a nice balance between efficiency and friendliness. Simon St. Laurent noted, "The staff is A+. Thank you!" demonstrating that the folks at Thai Express genuinely care about enriching your dining experience. Although RKS mentioned the menu options felt a bit limited, the quality certainly shines through, making every meal a worthwhile pause in your day.

As great as the food may be, there are a few quirks noted by the regulars regarding the packaging for takeout, specifically with the inconsistency between using cardboard boxes and plastic bowls. Michael Traves chimed in on this detail, expressing a wish for a more streamlined approach. It’s a small observation, but one that reflects the attention to detail that diners appreciate when ordering out.

In summary, if you are in the vicinity of Scotia Plaza and seek a fast, flavorful, and fulfilling meal, Thai Express Scotia Plaza is a commendable choice. The combination of vibrant Thai flavors, a friendly atmosphere, and fast service makes it a go-to lunch destination in downtown Toronto. Stop by for a taste – your taste buds will thank you!

Okay fast food thai place. Selection is so-so, a little slim on options but fine considering it's clearly a working day lunch place. Staff is okay. Pleasant enough but we will see if that stays up as people return to offices and they get busy.

This afternoon I had lunch here with a friend. I've visited a few times before but it was the customer service I got today that really left an impression on me. The staff is A+. Thank you! The food is great, by the way... I mustn't forget mentioning that!

This place is one of my regular go to's for decent take out. Usually get the Pad Thai. Of particular note, I haven't figured out why sometimes they give me a cardboard box and others a plastic bowl for takeout - box = bad. I regularly have to transfer to a large bowl just to eat it. Wish they'd stop using them.
